The basalt-rock inspiration really comes through—there's a mineral sharpness here I've never smelled in another perfume. I sprayed it on at 8am and could still catch faint traces on my coat at dinner, which never happens with my usual scents.
The scent actually evolves over a few hours—starts sharp and smoky, then settles into something warmer that lingers on my jacket for days. I keep catching whiffs of it randomly and it genuinely transports me back to that rugged coastal hike.
The mineral, almost volcanic edge to this is so distinct from everything else in my collection. I spritzed it on before a hike and caught whiffs of it for a full eight hours, which is way better than most perfumes I've tried.
